Can an architectural brief include an existing property?
The brief can cover a new building, an extension or alterations to an existing space. The starting point is understanding the property and the proposed changes before agreeing the design scope.
How do architecture and interior design fit together?
Architecture considers the spatial arrangement and building as a whole. Interior design develops the use, atmosphere, materials and details within it. The two can be commissioned together or as defined parts of a project.
How are technical design and approvals handled?
Gravity Engineering can coordinate the relevant engineering work and authority submissions alongside the design. Required appointments and responsibilities depend on the site and proposed work.
Can design support continue during construction?
Tendering, contractor selection, project management and site supervision are available through an agreed delivery appointment. The proposal sets out which stages and responsibilities are included.
